Great hotel! Super nice staff! Sandro, his brother as well as the entire family were very friendly and helpful! The location of the hotel is really excellent: a couple of minutes to the castle, city bars/restaurants, shops and beaches and to the bus stop, from where you can take the bus to everywhere - Lecce, Bari, Brindisi or the nicest beaches ever like Laghi Alimini or Frassanito etc. The room was really cozy, homey and very clean, and the breakfast served was delicious. I'd recommend this hotel for everyone - great place! Definitely gonna come back some time!

Even if they have tried to do their best, the hotel can't be managed by the 2 brothers by themselves for 150 euro a night!!!
Staff has been rude and not helpful.

We had a pleasant 3 nights stay in a comfortable room with balcony. The hotel is located just outside the lovely 'centro storico', it is only a 3-5 minutes walk. The Italian plus style breakfast can be enjoyed inside or outside. Car parking is free in the hotel's street. Towns as Lecce and Santa Cesarea Terme, and fancy spots such as the broad sandy beaches at Casino dei Turchi and Grotta Zinzulusa are close by and very much worth visiting.

The room that we stayed was quite large with 1 living room, 1 bedroom, 2 balconies and 1 bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the staff was helpful
It is a small hotel and there is not much to talk about services. Breakfast was fair. Language is a problem. I don't speak Italian and I had some difficulties in communicating with the staff. The beach is not that close! It is at least 15minutes of walking and you have to climb a hill.

I was keen to visit the Aragonese Castle of Otranto, so I chose to stay at Minerva. The hotel surprised me with its private parking option, which made it convenient for exploring the area. I also enjoyed the continental breakfast buffet served in the lovely courtyard and the proximity to the picturesque marina with its variety of restaurants and bars.
View: Modern apartment buildings around. But excellent value for money and only a 5-minute walk to the historical center.

This hotel in Otranto offers great value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. Located near the historical centre and the seafront, it's the perfect spot to explore the city. The staff is friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are well-equipped and even have balconies for a relaxing evening. The highlight is definitely the breakfast, with delicious home baked cakes that will satisfy your taste buds.
Only one downside, but it was tolerable.
